What a Real Supplement Audit Actually Looks At
7 min read
Plenty of companies offer a "personalized" supplement quiz. Most of them end with a recommendation to buy that company's own products. Since we do not sell supplements, an audit here ends with a protocol instead of a cart. Here is what goes into it.
What we collect
- Baseline data: age, height, weight and body composition goals.
- Medical context: diagnoses, prescription medications, allergies and digestive sensitivities.
- Lifestyle metrics: training frequency and type, sleep duration and quality, stress load.
- Goals, scored now versus target: aging, cognition, athletic performance, body composition, injury resilience, energy and sleep.
- The full current stack: every product, every active ingredient, every dose, and when it is taken.
- Diet outline, plus blood work if you have recent results available.
What we look for
- Duplicate ingredients across blended products.
- Doses below the range used in published research.
- Doses above what the evidence supports.
- Absorption conflicts between ingredients taken together.
- Timing errors, especially stimulants relative to your bedtime.
- Products with no defined job or no measurable signal.
- Gaps: goals your current stack does nothing to support.
What you receive
A Supplement Optimization Protocol: what to keep, what to drop, what to change the dose on, and a daily schedule that says exactly when to take each item. It is written against your training and sleep pattern rather than a generic template, and it includes the reasoning, so you can judge it rather than take it on faith.
Because recommendations are unbiased — we have no product line to sell you — the most common outcome is a shorter stack and a lower monthly spend, with better timing on what remains.
How long it takes
The audit form takes around twelve minutes to complete. Your protocol follows within a few days, with two refinement rounds in the first month so it can be adjusted against how you actually respond.
